Uninhabitable Mansions: “Do You Have a Strategy?”

I know this Uninhabitable Mansions song (and the album, Nature is a Taker, from which it springs) sounds a lot like Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, but I don’t care, because the last Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! record kind of sucked, and let’s face it, they weren’t all that original to begin with.

It’s straight up and down Aughts indie-rock, but the older I get the more I think it doesn’t matter too much how much you model your sound after someone else’s as long as you also write good songs. This record is full of them, and I’m enjoying it, and sharing a little bit with you:
